Books-By-Mail

Person pulling package out of mailbox

Culpeper County Library is evaluating a new way to provide a books-by-mail borrowing service at no cost to patrons living in Culpeper County this fall.

Books-by-Mail will be available to residents who otherwise cannot come to the Library because of illness, disability, or caregiving responsibilities. With this program, materials will be shipped in reusable, padded bags or boxes with prepaid return postage, and all mailing costs are covered by the Library. Nearly the entire circulating collection will be available through this service, including books, DVDs, and audiobooks. The only exceptions are WiFi hotspots, newly added materials, and Library-of-Things items as well as Inter-Library Loans.

Please fill out the Books-by-Mail interest form, send an email to our Information Desk at infodesk@cclva.org, or call 540-825-8691 for more information or to express interest.

We look forward to providing this service as soon as possible.
